Violation Processing Center
The RITE® Violation Processing Center (VPC) incorporates client-specific violation enforcement business rules providing a streamlined revenue recovery process. The VPC automates violation image review, vehicle owner registration lookup, notice and invoice generation, and violation payment receivables. To induce quick payment resolutions, the VPC features internal support for department of public safety citation and warrant generation, and secure credit card payments via the Web.
Violation Processing Center features include:
CSC interface — provides AVI account lookup by license plate and posting of a violation toll (v-toll) to an existing customer account, and facilitates the conversion of a violation to a new account
Multiple forms of payment — extensive support for complex payment by any combination of cash, check, credit cards, or EFT
Multiple excusal — extensive support for leniency ranging from select violations to select invoices
Department of Public Safety — integral automated support for pursuing non-payment by generation of citations and arrest warrants and court evidence packages
Digital image and OCR — provides support to automatically process OCR'd images that meet user-defined confidence levels
User customizable parameters — allows refinement of business rules to support frequent or occasional policy changes
